Kids at school were asked to describe their dream jobs. This is what Gabriel wrote about his day as a mail deliverer: “I go to work in the morning and I deliver mail in my white van. I come back at 1 p.m. to eat lunch. In the evening I go to deliver mail at 8 p.m. I get back at midnight. Then I go to bed.”

Posti is testing this electric tricycle in mail delivery in city centres. It is allowed on sidewalks and its top speed is 15 km per hour.
18-year-old Vincent Euresta is an old hand at Posti. This is his third summer working for Posti. “Can’t complain, it’s a nice job,” says the sporty young man. The photo shows Vincent sorting mail at the Töölö delivery office in Helsinki.
Some 2,500 summer workers have worked at Posti this year. One of them is Jenna Salonen, who worked in delivery operations in Helsinki’s Konala district. “I applied for a summer job at Posti because I wanted work that would keep me on the move. I’m enrolling at the university this fall, but I could see myself coming back to this job again,” she says.
